API3 partners with LightLink. The API3’s Oracle Stack is now available on Lightlink, providing developers with access to decentralized data feeds (dAPIs), on-chain QRNG for truly random numbers, and the upcoming OEV Network, which aims to recapture protocol MEV resulting from Oracle updates.

Developers on Lightlink can now access decentralized data feeds powered by first-party oracle nodes, which are operated directly by the data providers.

The launch of the OEV Network will provide protocols using API3’s decentralized data feeds on Lightlink with a fully integrated solution for recapturing MEV. Instead of losing value to searchers and block builders, the proceeds from Oracle update auctions are automatically returned to the originating dApp. This results in improved execution for users and enhanced performance for dApps.

What is LightLink

Lightlink is an Ethereum Layer 2 network that enables dApps and enterprises to provide users with instant, gasless transactions. It is the first L2 to leverage Optimum architecture with a proprietary stack that separates the consensus, execution, and data availability layers. This architecture allows Lightlink to achieve over 10,000 transactions per second at a cost of less than $0.01, without experiencing gas spikes.
